Application
Applicants may be individuals, couples, or couples with children though the housing for the residency itself is quite limited in size. Each seasonal resident will be chosen on the basis of their literary promise or accomplishments.
Application Requirements
Skookum Wawa is open to individual applicants with Native American descent who are currently living in the Western United States. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Applicants should be fluent in the English language. Chosen residents are expected to be highly motivated, self-sustained, and capable of managing their own schedule. The property is non-smoking and drug free. The facilities are currently not ADA accessible.
